Shortly before 4 a.m., Clay County Sheriff deputies responded to reports of a possible hit-and-run fatality crash in the vicinity of Northeast 120th Street, between Missouri Route A highway and Fishing River Road. Upon arrival, they discovered Scheidecker’s lifeless body at the scene. Shockingly, the vehicle responsible for the accident did not stop, leaving investigators desperate for any information that could lead to its identification.
