The FCT Police Command in Nigeria has launched an investigation into a fatal car crash that occurred in the Dutse area of FCT. The tragic accident took place on Saturday, and the command expressed deep sadness over the incident.
According to the police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, the command received a distress call from a concerned citizen near the Tipper Garage and immediately responded. The victims were rushed to Kubwa General Hospital for urgent medical attention. Unfortunately, three lives were lost in the accident, identified as Hosea Stehen, Muhammad Lawal, and Bashir Shaibu.

Four individuals involved in the crash are currently receiving medical treatment at Kubwa General Hospital. They have been identified as Maria Ibeku, Ebuka Eleodimuo, Joy Adebayo, and Bashir Haruna. The four vehicles involved in the accident, including a Black Toyota Camry, a Toyota Pilot, a Truck, and a Tricycle, have been secured at the police station.
One vehicle, a Toyota Jeep believed to belong to a Department of State Security officer, was taken from the scene by DSS personnel. The driver of the vehicle has been identified as David C.Y Audu.
The FCT Police Command assures the public that a thorough investigation will be conducted to ascertain the causes and circumstances surrounding the accident. The Commissioner of Police extends his deepest sympathies to the families, relatives, and loved ones of the deceased.
The command urges the public to remain calm and patient while the investigation is ongoing. They promise to provide timely updates on any further developments related to the case.
