In mid-February, a disturbing episode unfolded at Choate when a mental health technician was captured on camera physically assaulting a patient. The footage revealed the technician grabbing the patient, throwing him to the ground, and punching him in the stomach, showcasing a blatant disregard for the well-being of the residents.

Delayed Action and Lack of Accountability

Despite the severity of the incident, it took 11 days for any action to be taken against the employee involved.
