A Thai-American teenager shocked residents of Pattaya yesterday when he made the fateful decision to leap from the eighth floor of a condominium complex in the bustling city. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of the morning at around 3.36am, left onlookers in disbelief.
Details of the Tragic Event
Police Lieutenant Natthathan Chantawong, Deputy Inspector of Investigation at the Bang Lamung Police Station, received the initial report of the incident. The report mentioned that a 19-year-old American citizen had tragically taken his own life by jumping from the condominium complex. The identity of the teenager and the name of the condominium are being kept confidential as authorities continue their investigation.
Upon receiving the distressing news, Pol. Lt. Natthathan swiftly coordinated with the Pattaya Tourist Police and rescue workers to respond to the scene. The teenager’s lifeless body was discovered in the condominium’s parking lot after the fatal fall from the eighth floor. The police secured the area and restricted access to unauthorized personnel.

Chulalak Saiprasat, a 31-year-old woman, and her boyfriend were the first to come across the grisly sight as they were leaving the condominium. They immediately alerted the authorities, who rushed to the scene. A resident of the condo, known only as B, revealed that the deceased teenager and his mother had a history of arguments. The teenager’s younger brother, visibly shaken, disclosed that his brother had been involved in a heated dispute shortly before the tragic incident.
