Man Found Dead from Stabbing in Bakersfield identified as Aaron Delgado

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/FOX58) — A man who was discovered deceased from an apparent stabbing incident on Haley Street in Bakersfield on February 21 has been identified as Aaron Delgado, aged 36.

The tragic incident took place in the 2600 block of Haley Street at approximately 8:14 p.m., as confirmed by the Kern County Coroner’s Office. Bakersfield Police responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the stabbing.

The suspect in this case, Dylan Franco, aged 21, was apprehended around two miles away from the crime scene in the 2600 block of Oswell Street on February 22.

An autopsy is currently pending to determine the precise manner and cause of Aaron Delgado’s untimely passing.

Dylan Franco has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with this incident. He is scheduled to appear in court in March for further legal proceedings, as indicated by the Kern County Superior Court website.
