Police Seek Suspect in Deadly Stabbing in Northeast Washington

LONDON – Authorities in Northeast Washington, D.C. have released images of a suspect being sought in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred over the weekend.

The incident took place at the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Bladensburg Road, Northeast, on Saturday, February 24, at approximately 3:20 p.m., prompting a swift response from local law enforcement.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a male victim who had suffered a stab wound. The victim, identified as 53-year-old Christopher King, was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was sadly pronounced deceased. It is reported that King was without a permanent residence.

Surveillance footage captured a suspect in the vicinity, prompting a plea from authorities for public assistance in identifying and locating the individual.

In an effort to expedite the apprehension of the suspect, law enforcement is offering a reward of up to £25,000 for any information that leads to an arrest and subsequent conviction.
