In a recent incident in Texarkana, Arkansas, a man named Thaddeus Ray Carroll, 50, fled into the woods after a traffic stop in late January. Arkansas State Police Capt. Details of the Incident

Carroll was last seen on January 28 near County Road 1540 and U.S. Highway 67, close to Fulton, Arkansas. During the pursuit, Thaddeus Ray Carroll allegedly pointed a firearm at a trooper. The chase came to an end after one ASP trooper deployed spike strips and another performed a tactical vehicle maneuver to stop Carroll’s vehicle. Both Carroll and Bormann then ran into a wooded area near the highway.

According to the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office, Bormann is facing several charges including possession of a controlled substance, aggravated assault, fleeing, possession of drug paraphernalia, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearm, and possession of a firearm by certain persons. She remains in custody as of Wednesday afternoon.

Information regarding Gerald Austin Carroll’s arrest is not currently available. Anyone with information on Thaddeus Ray Carroll’s whereabouts is urged to contact ASP Troop G at 870-777-4641 or a local law enforcement agency.
