SALADO, Texas (KWTX) – A tragic incident occurred on Feb. 19 in Salado, Texas, where a fatal single vehicle crash took the life of a Cameron man. The victim, identified as 56-year-old Richard Glaser, was driving a truck tractor semi-trailer on FM 2484 near FM 3481 when the accident occurred.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Glaser was travelling eastbound when he misjudged a curve in the road. This error led to his vehicle leaving the roadway and overturning, resulting in the vehicle catching fire.
Tragically, Glaser was unable to escape the flames and was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been notified of the devastating news. The authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine the exact cause.
