The tragic incident that unfolded on Caspian Avenue in Atlantic City has been under investigation by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, following a distress call that prompted the Atlantic City Police Department’s swift response.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 10:40 pm and involved a young male who suffered a stab wound. Law enforcement discovered a 16-year-old male from Atlantic City inside the apartment, with visible stab wounds on his chest.

Despite immediate medical attention at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Atlantic City, the young victim unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The investigation has implicated another 16-year-old male, identified only as T.C., in connection with the stabbing.

T.C. is now facing serious charges, including first-degree murder, third-degree unlawful possession of a knife, and third-degree possession of a knife for an illicit purpose. Currently, T.C. is being held at a juvenile detention center in New Jersey.

The joint investigation into this incident is being conducted by the Major Crimes Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Violent Crimes Unit of the Atlantic City Police Department.
