An individual from Indiana, identified as Jason Gillum, tragically lost his life on Tuesday after falling from a cliff while hiking at Devil’s Lake State Park in Wisconsin. The Sauk County coroner confirmed Gillum’s identity, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources disclosed this information on Thursday. The incident occurred at the West Bluff section of the park, situated near the north shore and just south of Baraboo, approximately 40 miles northwest of Madison. Gillum’s fall from a height of 49 feet was determined to be accidental, with no suspicion of any foul play involved. The unfortunate event unfolded when Gillum and another hiker got separated during their hike on Tuesday afternoon, prompting the latter to report Gillum as missing. Subsequently, a group of fellow hikers discovered Gillum’s lifeless body shortly before 5 p.m. that day and promptly notified the authorities..
