Shirilla intentionally crashed her car into a brick wall at an astounding speed of 100 mph, causing the death of her boyfriend and his friend. The judge, Nancy Margaret Russo, described Shirilla as “literal hell on wheels” and classified the incident as murder rather than reckless driving. The trial took place in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court, where Shirilla faced charges of four counts of murder for the fatal crash that occurred in July 2022. The victims were identified as Dominic Russo, her 20-year-old boyfriend, and Davion Flanagan, a 19-year-old friend. Judge Russo delivered a guilty verdict on all counts, including four counts of felonious assault and two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide.
