The suspects, Derashio Wilson, aged 27, and Lashanae Gee, aged 23, have been charged with murder, as confirmed by law enforcement authorities. The incident originated on July 1 when the Raleigh Police Department promptly responded to a call regarding shots fired into a building situated in the 5400 block of Picket Fence Lane. Although multiple townhomes suffered damage from the gunfire, no injuries were reported at the time. On July 3, the same location witnessed a tragic turn of events as the lifeless body of Dexter Rashad Ingram, aged 28, was discovered by the RPD.
