A man wanted for a fatal shooting in May has been apprehended by the Knoxville Police Department. Jaheim Houston was arrested on Watauga Avenue by the U.S. Marshals Service. Houston is suspected of shooting Destiny Jones near a car accident site on Alcoa Highway. He has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and using a firearm during a dangerous felony. A man sought in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in May has been apprehended by the Knoxville Police Department, as confirmed by authorities. The suspect, Jaheim Houston, was taken into custody on Watauga Avenue by the U.S. Marshals Service. Houston was wanted in relation to a shooting incident in which Destiny Jones, a 24-year-old woman, was found with gunshot wounds near a car crash site on Alcoa Highway. It is believed that Jones was struck by bullets fired at Bebo’s Cafe, according to the Knoxville police. The medical examiner’s office determined that her cause of death was the result of the impact sustained during the crash. Houston now faces charges of two counts of attempted first-degree murder and the use of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony..
