A tragic incident unfolded at Schamberville Lake in Collinsville, as a child lost their life in a drowning accident on Saturday afternoon. Emergency services promptly responded to a distress call regarding a potential drowning around 1:30 pm. The young child, who had been last seen playing near the lake, was found submerged in the water just after 2:00 pm.
