A 40-year-old man, wanted by five district prosecutors’ offices for various crimes, was apprehended in Tainan after jumping from a fifth-story apartment building in an attempt to escape the police. The man, surnamed Wang, was captured in response to a report of a domestic disturbance. He suffered injuries from the fall and will be transferred to the prosecutors’ offices for charges once his condition improves. The injured man turned out to be Wang, who was swiftly identified as a fugitive. The officers provided medical assistance and detained him. Wang was then taken to a local hospital to receive treatment for his injuries, which included a broken pelvis and ribs. Once his condition improves, he will be transferred to the relevant prosecutors’ offices to face charges. Wang had been hiding in Tainan for approximately a month before his arrest.
