This week, the D.C. Police announced that the remains found in Fort Chaplin Park on April 4 have been positively identified as the body of Avery Miller.
Racheli Daniel, the director of Chai Lifeline Mid-Atlantic, where Wolf volunteered, stated to Washington’s News4 that he was a “generous, fun, warm person who attracted others towards him. The children adored him, and the other volunteers held him in high regard. His loss has created a significant void.”
During Wolf’s funeral, a letter was read on behalf of his wife, who was unable to speak. The letter expressed disbelief, stating, “There is no way this can be real.” It further conveyed the deep love and appreciation Wolf’s wife had for him, saying, “You supported me when no one else could. My heart is now filled with an immense void that only your love can fill. Two and a half years with you will never be enough.”
