The incident occurred at approximately 7:10 p.m. on Thursday in the 100 block of north McKinley Street. Eyewitnesses and BNSF employees informed law enforcement that the man seemed to deliberately enter the railroad tracks in front of the approaching freight train, which had sounded its horn as a warning. Prompt medical assistance was provided at the scene, and the injured man was swiftly transported to the hospital by ambulance. Unfortunately, despite efforts to save his life, Maurice Terril Davis from San Diego, as confirmed by Corona police, succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
