A photograph depicting a scene on NW Loop 410 near Vance Jackson Road in San Antonio has been identified by authorities. The image captures the aftermath of a pursuit involving police, resulting in the tragic death of a woman named Bianca Marie Sanchez. The incident occurred around 11:20 p.m. According to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office, Sanchez was pronounced dead at the scene. The pursuit began when patrol officers attempted to conduct a routine traffic stop, but Sanchez, the driver, failed to comply and instead continued driving slowly through residential areas. The officers decided to deactivate their emergency lights and followed Sanchez’s vehicle onto the access road of Interstate 10, eventually entering the eastbound access road of NW Loop 410. At one point, Sanchez approached an exit ramp and turned left into the eastbound lanes of the highway, nearly coming to a stop in the far right lane. Continuing to tail the vehicle without emergency lights, the officers witnessed Sanchez make a sudden left turn across multiple lanes of traffic. Tragically, the car was struck by a pickup truck. The collision caused significant damage to the driver’s side and rear door areas of Sanchez’s vehicle. The San Antonio Fire Department promptly arrived at the scene and, after prying open the driver’s door, attempted CPR. The investigation into this incident is still ongoing..
