The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim of a shooting near a Bradenton nightclub. A crowd of people leaving the Touch of Class nightclub were targeted by someone with a rifle. One person, identified as Dwight Evans Jr., was shot in the leg and later died from his injuries. The individual who was shot in a recent incident near a nightclub in Bradenton, Florida has been identified by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. According to detectives, a person armed with a rifle opened fire on a group of individuals who had just exited the Touch of Class nightclub on 14th Street West. The shooting occurred as they were making their way towards the overflow parking area at Gold Rush Arcade. Tragically, a 33-year-old man was struck by one of the bullets, and despite attempts by bystanders to administer a tourniquet, he succumbed to his injuries later at Blake Hospital. The victim has been identified as Dwight Evans, Jr from Bradenton.

The investigation into this fatal shooting is ongoing, with homicide detectives actively seeking any information regarding the events leading up to the incident, as well as those responsible. To aid in this effort, the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office and the Gold Star Club of Manatee County are collectively offering a reward of $5000 for any information that leads to an arrest in this case.
