A teenager lost their life following a confrontation at a residence in Peoria on Monday evening. Police were called to the scene at Lone Mountain Parkway and El Mirage Road after receiving a report of a shooting at around 11:20 p.m. It was reported that Ryan Garcia, an 18-year-old known to the caller, was inside the house and had fired shots. Four individuals arrived at the property, with one of them entering without permission. This led to a dispute between the residents and Garcia, which escalated to gunfire. Unfortunately, Garcia sustained fatal injuries. The authorities apprehended two of the individuals as they attempted to flee in a white Toyota Corolla. Another person located nearby was also detained. After being interviewed by the police, all three were subsequently released without charges. The incident appears to be an isolated event involving individuals who were acquainted with each other.
