A man and woman have been arrested for murder after a shooting in Bandera County, Texas. Linda Hernandez was arrested on murder and evidence tampering charges, while Eddie Montesdeoca was arrested for murder, evidence tampering, and possessing a firearm as a felon. A couple has been apprehended and charged with murder following a fatal shooting in Bandera County on July 30. Linda Hernandez was taken into custody on July 31 for murder and tampering with evidence, while Eddie Montesdeoca was arrested on August 3 for murder, tampering with evidence, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Authorities from the Bandera County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident in Lakehills on Oak Cliff, where they discovered Randy Knox, the victim, with gunshot wounds to his back and left armpit. Investigation revealed surveillance footage showing an altercation between Knox and Montesdeoca, during which Montesdeoca brandished a handgun and threatened Knox. Additionally, the video depicted Montesdeoca assaulting Knox with the pistol.

In an attempt to escape, Knox fled the altercation, but Montesdeoca pursued him and fired multiple shots, causing Knox to collapse. Subsequently, Hernandez approached the victim, wielding a pipe, and struck Knox, as captured in the video footage.

After the incident, Montesdeoca and Hernandez fled the scene but were apprehended shortly thereafter. They were subsequently transported to the Bandera County Jail.
