A second teenager has died after a double shooting in Kansas City last month. The shooting occurred on July 23, and one teenager was pronounced dead at the scene. Another teen was taken to the hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead on August 4. The investigation is ongoing, and there are currently no suspects in custody. The shooting took place at around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 23, near the intersection of 8th and Bales, just south of Independence Avenue. Police officers arrived at the scene to find an unresponsive teenager with multiple gunshot wounds. Tragically, the 16-year-old victim, identified as Adan Morales-Alvarado, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another teenager, 15-year-old Angel Macias, also sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was initially listed in critical condition. However, he tragically succumbed to his injuries on Friday, August 4. The police investigation is ongoing, and no suspects have been detained at this time.
