Upon investigation, law enforcement found a man inside the vehicle who had suffered gunshot wounds. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the victim, identified as Lazarus Vigil, tragically succumbed to his injuries. Pueblo Police detectives subsequently obtained a warrant for the arrest of the unnamed 13-year-old suspect on charges of first-degree murder. The arrest was made on July 27, and the suspect was placed in custody at the Pueblo Youth Center. The identity of the suspect remains undisclosed, and it is uncertain whether it will be made public.
