HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Officials have reported the arrest of a 29-year-old Adelanto woman for attempted murder after she allegedly stabbed another woman in the face.
The incident occurred on August 03, 2023, at approximately 3:06 a.m. in the 14000 block of Arae Street in Hesperia.
Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a 37-year-old female victim from Apple Valley had been stabbed in the face with a metal object during a confrontation with the suspect.
The reported suspect, identified as Amanda Shute, was apprehended at the scene by deputies. The injured victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital by the San Bernardino County Fire Department for medical treatment.
Shute was taken into custody and transported to the High Desert Detention Center. In addition to the charges of attempted murder, she was also booked for an outstanding felony and misdemeanor warrant.
