Animal Control Deputies from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene on Faussett Road after a previous dog attack incident. The deputies found the lifeless body of a 68-year-old man with a dog actively biting him. The dog, which was identified as a Mastiff mix breed, had been involved in another dog attack where a local resident sustained severe injuries. The deceased victim was the owner of the dog. Due to the aggressive behavior of the dog, it was euthanized on-site to allow medical aid to be administered.
