New Development in the Disappearance of Nigel Kedar
Nigel Kedar, a 52-year-old father from Clacton, went missing on April 4, 2017, after visiting a friend in the city. He had initially planned to drive home the following morning. However, a friend let the air out of his car tires on April 3 due to concerns about his intoxication level.
It is believed that Kedar made the decision to walk back to Clacton instead. CCTV footage captured him withdrawing £100 from a shop in Long Stratton at 6:30 am on April 4, with the last sighting of him in Dickleburgh at 9:30 am. Despite police urging drivers on the A140 at the time to check their dashcam footage, Kedar was never found.
However, a recent development in the case has shed new light on his disappearance. On June 8, 2018, a member of the public discovered Kedar’s body on Norwich Road in Mendlesham, Suffolk. Norfolk Constabulary officially identified the body as that of Nigel Kedar and stated that his death is currently being treated as unexplained.
At the time of his disappearance, Kedar’s brother, Richard Kedar, described him as a friendly and hard-working man who was an important member of the family. The family was extremely concerned about his disappearance, as it was completely out of character for him.
