DESCHUTES COUNTY, Ore. – Tragedy struck on Friday afternoon in Deschutes County when a fatal crash claimed the life of one person and left two others injured, according to the Oregon State Police.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene just before 4:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 20, near milepost 15. Preliminary investigations conducted by the Oregon State Police revealed that a Subaru Forester was traveling eastbound on the highway when its driver inexplicably made a U-turn in the middle of the road. Tragically, the Subaru was then t-boned by an eastbound Ford F350.
