Two people have been arrested for aggravated burglary after a home invasion in Price, Utah. Shanna L. Davis, 42, and Cameron S. Rhinehart, 18, were taken into custody following the incident. The female victim called 911 and reported that a woman with a gun had entered the house and told her to leave. The victim also believed that the three individuals were attempting to rob the house. Two Arrested in Price Home Invasion

PRICE, Utah (ABC4) – Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a home invasion in Price on Friday, July 28, according to the Carbon County Sheriff’s Office.

Shanna L. Davis, 42, and Cameron S. Rhinehart, 18, have both been charged with aggravated burglary, a first-degree felony offense.

Home Invasion Incident

The incident occurred around 1 a.m. when the female victim, who was staying at a Price residence, called 911 to report a home invasion. The victim claimed that a woman, later identified as Davis, entered the house with a gun and demanded her to leave. The victim also stated that there was another person with a gun at the back door.

The victim believed that the three individuals were attempting to rob the house. Davis allegedly mentioned that the house belonged to her uncle. She threatened to shoot the victim within five minutes, according to the victim’s statement.

Arrest and Investigation

Carbon County Sheriff’s Deputies, alongside Wellington Police and Price City Police, responded to the scene in Lower Miller Creek. Rhinehart was apprehended near the house, while Davis and two other women were taken into custody as they exited through the front door.

Authorities discovered a broken basement door frame and a sledgehammer next to the door. The homeowner, who was contacted by deputies, denied arranging any meeting and confirmed she was staying at her son’s house in Salt Lake City.

Weapons Found

During the investigation, a black rifle was found in Davis’ vehicle parked in the driveway. Rhinehart claimed to have brought the rifle for protection. The rifle was loaded with 14 rounds in a magazine, and five additional boxes of ammunition were found in the passenger seat compartment.

The victim had locked herself in a bedroom while talking to the police and had called 911. Davis and Rhinehart have been booked into the Carbon County Jail on charges related to the home invasion.
