OTTAWA, Kan. – In a tragic incident on July 28, Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting in Princeton. The incident took place around 8:44 p.m. in the 1800 block of John Brown Road.

Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered a male individual with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim, identified as 42-year-old Nathan Boggs of Ottawa, Kansas, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
