Investigators Seek Public’s Help in Solving Lemon Grove shooting

The San Diego Sheriff’s Office is appealing to the public for assistance in locating a suspect connected to the tragic shooting death of a 39-year-old man in Lemon Grove earlier this year.
Suspect Daniel Ethridge, aged 34, has been identified by Sheriff’s Lt. Joseph Jarjura as a person of interest in the murder of Gregory Moore, according to a recent news release.
Court records indicate that Ethridge is one of four individuals charged in relation to Moore’s death. The other suspects are currently detained in San Diego County jail.
The incident occurred on the evening of March 22, when Moore was shot in the torso and leg on Lemon Grove Avenue near Montana Street. Fatally wounded, he managed to drive a short distance to the intersection of San Miguel Avenue, where he was discovered unconscious in the driver’s seat by responding deputies.
