Authorities from the Volusia Sheriff’s Office have confirmed the discovery of a deceased woman in New Smyrna Beach on Wednesday afternoon.
The body, belonging to a woman in her late 20s, was found near the intersection of Lake Ashby Road and South State Road 415.
The deceased has been identified as Christina Donley, 29 years old.
While the circumstances surrounding her death are yet to be determined, the sheriff’s office stated that it does not appear to be a homicide.
