Granger Man Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Collision near Three Oaks

A tragic incident occurred in the early hours of Friday morning on West Elm Valley Road near Mill Road, northeast of Three Oaks, resulting in the death of a Granger man.

At approximately 12:30 a.m., Berrien County Sheriff deputies responded to the scene and discovered a lone motorcycle and its operator, identified as Jaime Daniel Brown of Granger, in a nearby ditch along West Elm Valley Road. Despite the deputies’ immediate life-saving efforts, Brown unfortunately succumbed to his injuries at the accident site.

According to authorities, Brown was reportedly not wearing a helmet, and preliminary investigations suggest that speed and alcohol may have played contributing roles in the crash.
