Authorities Searching for Suspect in Lemon Grove Homicide

Authorities in Lemon Grove, California are on the hunt for a suspect believed to be involved in a murder that occurred on March 18. The San Diego Sheriff’s Department has identified the suspect as 34-year-old Daniel Ethridge.

The Crime

The incident took place at the intersection of Lemon Grove Avenue and San Miguel Avenue around 10 p.m. on March 18. Law enforcement officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered 39-year-old Gregory Moore unconscious in his vehicle with gunshot wounds. Tragically, Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Suspect

Daniel Ethridge is now wanted in connection with the shooting. He is described as a black man, approximately 5 foot 9 and weighing 156 pounds. Ethridge has black hair, brown eyes, and is believed to be associated with a local street gang. Lieutenant Joseph Jarjura of the San Diego Sheriff’s Department Homicide Unit revealed that Ethridge has prior convictions for assault with a deadly weapon and shooting into an inhabited dwelling.
