A drive-by shooting in Unity Plaza, Hartford, has left one man dead and another in critical condition. The incident occurred on Tuesday night, prompting a prompt response from the Hartford Police Department. Authorities were alerted to the scene after a ShotSpotter notification, finding two men with gunshot wounds outside a business on Barbour St.

Efforts to save one of the victims’ lives were made by officers before he was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Marion Edwards from Windsor. The other victim remains in critical condition and is receiving treatment at an area hospital.
