A love triangle turned violent in Sherman, Texas, resulting in a crash that left one man critically injured and another behind bars. The incident occurred when 33-year-old Cody Kuntz and 26-year-old Daniel Blakley got into a heated confrontation. According to witnesses, Daniel Blakley got into his vehicle while Kuntz fled on his motorcycle.
Tragically, Daniel Blakley’s vehicle crashed into Kuntz’s motorcycle and collided with the back of an AutoZone store, leaving Kuntz trapped beneath the vehicle. The motive behind the crash was revealed by Daniel Blakley’s wife, Amanda Blakley, and Kuntz’s girlfriend, Kacie Gunter Amuda. They disclosed that the argument stemmed from a romantic entanglement involving Amanda Blakley and Kuntz.
The love triangle had been ongoing for some time, with Amanda Blakley and Daniel Blakley being together for almost four years. However, they had been separated for the past two months, during which Amanda Blakley began a relationship with Kuntz. Kuntz was also in a relationship with Amuda.
The altercation took place in the parking lot of a Lowe’s store, where Daniel Blakley confronted Kuntz, provoking him. Amanda Blakley claimed that Daniel Blakley followed Kuntz for almost a mile before the crash occurred. Kuntz sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to a hospital in Plano, Texas, where he underwent two surgeries and remains in a medically induced coma.
Daniel Blakley was arrested and charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. He is currently held in the Grayson County Jail on a $1 million bond.
