A fatal shooting occurred in Ansonia, Connecticut, on Friday afternoon, leaving one man dead. The victim has been identified as Abduljalil Humphrey, a 30-year-old resident of Ansonia. The incident took place on Hodge Avenue, and multiple people called 9-1-1 to report gunshots at around 1:40 p.m.

At least one other person was in the stolen Chevrolet, and they drove away from the scene.
Ansonia police are currently trying to locate both cars. Residents are advised not to approach the vehicles if spotted, but instead to contact their local police department.
