Detectives in Tillamook County, Oregon, are on the hunt for a woman they believe could provide valuable information regarding a recent homicide. The incident occurred on Saturday in Cape Meares, where authorities responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on Fourth Street Northwest. When they arrived, they discovered the lifeless body of a 47-year-old man from the Portland area, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

A suspect, identified as 31-year-old Johnathan Blake Morriss from Portland, has since been apprehended and booked into the Tillamook County Jail. However, investigators are now seeking the assistance of the public in locating 41-year-old Heather Lee Williams, also known as Heather Lee Perez. Williams is believed to have fled the scene before law enforcement arrived and may currently be in the Portland area.

In addition to her potential involvement in the homicide, Williams has multiple outstanding warrants for unrelated crimes, including a statewide Caution Felony Warrant out of Multnomah County. Authorities have urged anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Detective Chase Ross at 503-815-3326. If spotted, individuals are advised not to approach Williams but rather call 911 immediately.

As the investigation into the homicide continues, authorities have refrained from disclosing any further details at this time. Detectives are likely sifting through evidence, interviewing witnesses, and piecing together a timeline of events in order to ascertain the motive behind the crime and any potential connections between the individuals involved.

The search for Heather Lee Williams serves as a reminder that community cooperation is crucial in bringing justice to victims and their families. By working together and providing information to law enforcement, individuals can play an essential role in resolving criminal cases and ensuring the safety of their communities..
