Three Georgia teenagers have been arrested for the alleged murder of a man after egging his house. The incident occurred on Monday and resulted in the death of Jonathan Gilbert, also known as Tyler Lane. Eighteen-year-olds Sydney Maughon and Jeremy Munson, along with 19-year-old McKenzie Davenport, have been charged with malice murder, battery, and criminal trespass. Maughon and Munson are also facing charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
According to the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office, the incident stemmed from an ongoing lovers’ quarrel involving the victim. The suspects decided to vandalize Gilbert’s residence by egging it. When Gilbert confronted them, Maughon allegedly shot him multiple times. The suspects then fled the scene in a car.
