The video footage shows the police officer, identified as ‘DSP Abdul Rauf’, along with his sons and colleagues, brutally beating 16-year-old Abdul Rehman with an iron rod. Origin of the Conflict
According to Abdul Rahman’s father, the altercation began when his son got into a fight with another student, who happened to be the son of a police officer, during their matric exams in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. In a fit of rage, DSP Abdul Rauf, accompanied by his colleagues and sons, unleashed a violent assault on Abdul Rehman using an iron rod.
Severe Injuries and Legal Action
Abdul Rahman sustained serious head injuries as a result of the attack and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. He has undergone two CT scans in the past five hours to assess the extent of his injuries. A case has been registered against DSP Abdul Rauf, as well as individuals named Hashir, Rehan, and other accomplices involved in the incident.
