MILWAUKEE – A Glendale police pursuit culminated in a multi-vehicle collision in Milwaukee on Saturday, May 11, resulting in the apprehension of the driver.
Authorities indicated that an officer attempted to halt an SUV at approximately 4:45 p.m. due to it bearing a stolen license plate near the vicinity of Port Washington Road and Silver Spring Drive. The driver evaded the stop.
The pursuit proceeded west along Silver Spring before making a southward turn onto Green Bay Avenue. The SUV veered into opposing traffic in order to evade stop sticks that had been deployed close to the intersection of Green Bay and Hampton Avenue, ultimately colliding with two other vehicles.

The driver, identified as a 34-year-old individual from Milwaukee, attempted to flee on foot but was swiftly apprehended. Despite the stolen license plate, authorities confirmed that the SUV itself had not been reported stolen.
Officials reported that occupants of the two vehicles involved in the collision sustained minor injuries. The fleeing SUV did not have any passengers on board.
The case will be forwarded to the district attorney’s office for review of potential charges of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and evading law enforcement.
