Police in Arlington County have successfully arrested and charged a man wanted by the U.S. Marshal’s Service. The suspect, identified as 59-year-old Marvin Davis, has been charged with burglary and grand larceny.

The arrest took place on May 9 at around 7:42 a.m. when police responded to a report of an exposure in the area of 18th Street N. and N. Highland Street. Upon arrival, an officer located a man matching the suspect’s description and briefly detained him before releasing him from the scene.

Subsequent investigations revealed that Davis was wanted by the U.S. Marshal’s Service. Following leads, officers were able to track down the suspect in possession of a suspected stolen bicycle in the 3100 block of Clarendon Boulevard, where he was taken into custody.

It is believed that Davis entered a property in the 1800 block of N. Hartford Street, stole a bicycle, and fled the scene before being apprehended by law enforcement. The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and authorities are working to gather further evidence.
