CHICAGO – The individual tragically killed during a violent incident known as a “street takeover” in the Chicago Lawn area over the weekend has now been identified.
In the early hours of Sunday, a 20-year-old man, Guillermo Caballero, was driving his black Honda Accord when he found himself surrounded by a group participating in a “street takeover” at the intersection of West 59th Street and South Western Avenue.
As he tried to exit the chaotic scene, two assailants opened fire on his vehicle, resulting in his untimely death.
The victim, Guillermo Caballero, was a resident of Chicago and his life was cut short due to this violent incident.
