While Ranson lost her life, the man accompanying her on the moped sustained life-threatening injuries but is now in stable condition. Morgan, aged 60, faces charges including felony hit-and-run, misdemeanor death by vehicle, driving while license revoked, and failure to reduce speed. His bond has been set at $25,000.
