CLYMER BOROUGH POLICE ARREST MAN FOR DISORDERLY CONDUCT
A Clymer man found himself in hot water earlier this week when he was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct. The incident took place at a home in the 200 block of Hancock Street, where police were called out at 2:28 PM on Monday.
According to reports, the victim alleged that 43-year-old Eric Sinclair had approached them around 12:30 PM for no apparent reason, making threats. Despite being on a public sidewalk, Sinclair continued to shout at the victim until he was asked to leave. However, he returned half an hour later, pulling into the driveway and attempting to fight one of the victims. After being asked to leave once again, Sinclair finally departed.
A summary citation was subsequently filed with District Judge Christopher Welch’s office charging Sinclair with disorderly conduct.
DRIVING VIOLATION LEADS TO ARREST OF CLYMER MAN
In another incident involving a Clymer man, police caught 30-year-old William Rettinger driving on a suspended license. The incident occurred at 6:54 PM on May 20th when police stopped an SUV in a parking lot near the intersection of Franklin and 6th Streets.
Upon inspection, it was discovered that Rettinger not only had an expired registration sticker on his vehicle but was also driving on a suspended license due to a previous DUI offense. Furthermore, he did not have insurance for the vehicle.
A criminal complaint was subsequently filed with District Judge Christopher Welch, charging Rettinger with habitual offenders, driving while suspended for DUI, and several summary violations.
