Salem: Seven-Year-Old Girl Dies After Nose Bleed in Sleep

Around 10.30pm, Poojakumari noticed that her daughter was bleeding from her nose and immediately rushed her to a nearby private hospital. Concerned doctors at the private hospital advised her to take Lakshmikumari to the Salem government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College and Hospital (SGMKMCH) for further treatment. Despite the efforts made to save her, the doctors at SGMKMCH declared her brought dead around 12.30am.

Fairlands police inspector D Gandhimathi shared that the vital organs of the deceased girl have been sent for a viscera test to determine if any poisonous substances were present in the food consumed by Lakshmikumari.
