A 37-year-old Indian social media influencer, Shanifa Babu, tragically passed away after falling from the 19th floor of her building near St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Fujairah, Abu Dhabi. Shanifa, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, was the wife of Sanuj Babu and a mother of two daughters. Her husband took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news, asking for prayers for her soul. Shanifa’s body is currently in the hospital mortuary, while her husband is being questioned by the police. This incident is reminiscent of a similar tragedy in October 2023 when a 17-year-old Indian boy fell to his death in Ajman, UAE.

Abu Dhabi: A tragic incident occurred in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) where a 37-year-old Indian social media influencer lost her life after falling from the 19th floor of her building near St. Mary’s Catholic High School in Fujairah.
The woman who passed away has been identified as Shanifa Babu, a native of Thiruvananthapuram in the south Indian state of Kerala. The heartbreaking incident took place on Saturday morning, May 25.
Shanifa was the wife of Sanuj Babu, who operates a construction company in Fujairah, and is a mother of two daughters.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Sanuj shared, “My Wife left me today at 8.30 am, leaving me alone and my two angels….May her soul rest in peace…Pray for her…”
According to reports from the media, Shanifa’s body is currently in the hospital mortuary, while her husband is being taken for questioning by the authorities.
In a similar incident that occurred in October 2023, a 17-year-old boy tragically lost his life after falling from the 6th floor of his residential building in Ajman, UAE.
These tragic incidents serve as a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing our loved ones every day.
