Arrest Made After High-Speed Pursuit Through Cass and Fulton Counties
One individual has been apprehended following a dramatic chase that unfolded in the counties of Cass and Fulton in Indiana. The incident occurred on the evening of May 2, when Indiana State Police Trooper Dustin Smith noticed a yellow motorcycle travelling on Indiana 25 in Cass County without its tail light illuminated. The rider was later identified as Jamie Corbin, a 43-year-old resident of Rochester.
Pursuit Begins
Trooper Smith attempted to pull over the motorcycle on Indiana 25 near 900 North, but the vehicle refused to stop. This led to a high-speed pursuit through Cass and Fulton counties, with speeds reaching up to 80 miles per hour.
End of the Chase
The pursuit continued northbound on Indiana 25 until it came to a halt at 950 South in Fulton County. Corbin then attempted to flee on foot, but law enforcement officers were able to apprehend him. A subsequent search of the motorcycle uncovered suspected methamphetamine.
