Initially brought to the attention of the Keith County Sheriff’s Office, the case was referred to the Nebraska State Patrol due to the location of the assault.
Following a thorough investigation, the Nebraska State Patrol identified the suspect as Chris Wilson, a 46-year-old man from Kimball. Subsequently, an arrest warrant was issued for Wilson, leading to his apprehension on Thursday, May 2. He was taken into custody and confined in the Kimball County Jail.
