Details of the Incident
Identified as Prathamesh Bhokse, the deceased started experiencing severe stomach ache and vomiting shortly after indulging in ‘chicken shawarma’ on May 4. Concerned for his well-being, Bhokse’s family promptly admitted him to a nearby municipal hospital for urgent medical attention.
Despite initial treatment, Bhokse’s health continued to deteriorate, prompting a transfer to another hospital on May 5. Despite being discharged after receiving medical care, his condition did not improve, leading to readmission for further treatment.

Tragically, the young individual succumbed to his condition on Monday while undergoing treatment at the hospital. Hospital authorities promptly notified the Trombay police station about the incident, prompting the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) based on the family’s complaint.
