The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced the arrest of an individual in connection to a homicide on Oct. 30, 2023 on the 1800 block of Fairlawn Avenue, SE.
Details of the Incident
During the investigation into the tragic incident that occurred on Fairlawn Avenue, SE, officers responded to the location following a report of found human remains. It was at this site where the body of 25-year-old Kwame Keith was discovered in a trash can.
Medical Examiner’s Findings
